Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our rescued Eskies/dogs!   ;)  We would like to remind everyone that we are not a 'shelter'...only a 'rescue' and do have limited time since we are an all volunteer organization, who work full time jobs and foster our own Eskies in our homes.  We would like to thank you in advance for your patience as we try to respond quickly as possible to the numerous emails & calls individually about adopting one of our reskies in a prompt manner...

The adoption Process:
We normally start by filling out an adoption application to begin the adoption process, then call references and conduct a phone interview with you to make sure we have the best Eskie in mind with your family in mind.  At that time we try to see if there is a day that you can meet our Eskies.  We do work and have to take care of the doggies when we get home during the weekdays so normally, we try to schedule times to meet our doggies on the weekend.  So in order to further expedite the adoption process, when you send your application and there a particular day/time that would be best for us to schedule a meeting, please let us know so we can check to see if that time is available to meet your new family member!  We will follow up with another email or call to confirm that date.  During that visit, if everything goes well...we normally end with signing an adoption agreement and you go home with your new family member!  ;)

Just an FYI:  We try to update the site often with the new pictures as well, as information on the ones that have finally made their way down to me for health/ behavior evaluations.  ;)

Please contact us if you are still interested in adopting as we have MANY more Eskies that have come into our program and are looking for great homes like yours.   Thank you again for your patience and wanting to adopt one of our rescue Eskies.  ;)  If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,
Carol Raymond

We appologize for any delays but since we are all volunteers, processing of this application may take approximately a week or two depending on our busy schedules.  A number of people that are working on different aspects of this application may contact you for additional information before you are called by an foster parent to arrange a home visit or "picture walk" of your home for possible transition help.   Pending the results of this visit, a dog may be placed with you, after you meet with the dog in the foster parent’s home to see personalities/behaviors etc.
