Hi, I'm Katy.
I am so glad that Ms Carol rescued me from Animal Control on the very
day they were going to end my life. Did you know that once they pick you up off the street, you have only 3 days to
live? Ms Carol knows that and now you do too!
I had ticks and fleas until Ms Carol bathed me and pulled every one
of those nasty creatures off of me, all the while brushing through all the matted hair so that she could save most of
my beautiful fur. She works so hard to keep us healthy and as you know that is time-consuming and can get quite expensive.
She also finds us great homes like the one I now have.
Now, I live like the duchess I am with my mommy, daddy, and brother,
Kele. Kele is also a rescued Eskie from Houston. That's Kele in the picture below. He's a year younger than
me and needs to learn a few manners every now and then, like when he tries to steal my bone. Otherwise, he's a very
good boy and we romp and play quite often during the day. We also walk in the neighborhood and say hello to all the
other neighbors, especially the little children who love to pet me. During the day when my mommy's at work and my daddy's
not home, Kele and I take long leasurely naps when we are not barking at other dogs from the windows. If my daddy is
home and on a conference call, I like to bark and chat too, but he sends me to my room. In the evenings, I cuddle
up on the sofa with my daddy and make him rub me while he watches TV. I have a very good life now. Thank you again,
Ms Carol. She's an angel you know. |

Please help Ms Carol take good care of us by finding us loving people
who want to share their home with us. Also, before buying a puppy, consider adopting. Kele and I were both adopted
when we were between 1 and 4 years old. Our family gets along very well. My mommy explained the rules and
we all obey them. Even my daddy has learned to talk dog! Ms Carol often has puppies, too. I wish we could
adopt a puppy so that I could play with it, but it will grow up to be like Kele with a mind of its own.
You can help us in a variety of ways:
Bringing one or more of us home with you forever is the best way. Telling
people you know that we are available and waiting for adoption. Allowing
one of us to live with you until a home is found. It's called Fostering. Donating
money helps Ms Carol with the vet bills. Transporting us from one
area to another. It's called the Eskie Railroad.
My mommy has done that twice recently. She rescued two little
guys at an Animal Control center in Louisiana and brought one of them to a kennel/vet in Lafayette, LA and the other to a
Houston kennel/vet where they both were examined and brought up to date with their shots. One already has a new home
and the other is still in the kennel until Ms Carol can go pick him up or he gets a new home.
Love and barks, Katy p.s. Kele sends his love and barks too. He always has to be a part of my action. lol |
